waterboi
just open a window. Hookah smoke doesnt stick around much. the coal smell can sometimes last a little longer depending on the coals you use.
Luke69
Are you worried about the coal smell or shisha smell? Cause the shisha smells really good usually and doesnt smell for very long at all.

mdl
Are you worried about landlords or parents smelling it?If you smoke in an enclosed room with no windows open the coal smell will stick around for a good 8+hrs depending upon room size. If you leave a window open the smell will be gone very fast so long as there is circulation.

mdl
I don't want to be the party pooper but if you're worried about your parents smelling the hookah you may not want to smoke it in their house. What if they come into your room and see it? You can't exactly hide it with lit coals on top.Never the less, just leave the window open and when you're done turn on the fan. Stinkyfisherman
Yea turn on the fan, but that would be bad for good smoke. What I do so no one around the apartments figures out that I smoke is burn incense. No one can even tell that i've smoked hookah cuz the incense are very strong. IFFN32
I've smoked in my room a lot of times, and to tell you the truth, the smell doesnt really linger at all. Just leave window open and your set.

Plain Old Me
IME, most shisha will make a room smell better. Quicklight coals can leave a bit of a stink after using them a few times though.

That's with no fan and no windows open. One puff of a cigar on the other hand, and it smells for DAYS. viRus
I start smoking at around 2pm to 2:30pm, with fan on and window open, pack up around 3:40pm, 4:00pm, spray some air freshener, by 5:30pm when my mum gets home, smells gone. Works for me
zachslusser
well i dont think the smell really sticks around. as far as Nikons idea, I dont think that i could do that to me thats not what smoking is about. I like to see the smoke and blow rings . with it all going in a fan what good is it. then it seems to me like it is something i need as an addiction if i just smoke it to go in a fan out the window. If yer p's have a problem go outside, if they arent ok with you smoking go someplace else and if your of age to smoke then explain to them what it is and maybe they will respect the fact that you are willing to educate them on it even if you are going against their wishes

r1v3th3ad
I agree on the "their house their rules", I can't smoke anything in my house because my parents don't smoke. Once in a while I can do incense in my room for meditation, especially considering my dad does the same. The reasons I can't smoke that I know is: It can stain the walls, odor, and with the hookah(although I never asked, its assumed) I could easily burn the carpet as I have done here at my apartment. I'm gonna ask about the hookah when I'm home next. I'm more careful now and keep it on a solid surface like wood everytime I smoke, so I will not do damage.I'd try educating them and show responsibility with it to them, maybe then they may let you. staygone
Bake some muffins and let them sit in your room. Instant smell diversion from hookah to fresh baked goods.-QM
